Empowering self-esteem, social skills and young people’s unique creative potential are essential objectives in all our activities. The participants don’t need a specific technical level to create a piece of music, poetry or visual art work. Our approach is to challenge the youth in being 1) pro-active, 2) creative and 3) socially engaged.
If we challenge a young person to be pro-active s/he understands that as “having a voice”, the challenge to be creative will be understood as “be yourself” and being challenged on the social level s/he will show mutual respect to others and become cooperative. If these three challenges are well balanced, the young participants feel comfortable to show and to share their unique creative potential.
